Just beyond the fence
is freedom, or is that just a lie?
What is it trying to keep out?
Or, is it keeping you inside?

Tattoo

My Tattoo
I only have one tattoo, and I didn't get it until I was 42. I have a BIG HEART, and lucky for me, that I do.   Why?  Because over the years it has been broken, and pieces ripped off.  I've been unable to get those pieces back, but it still manages to function and love.  The barbed wire represents;
It's hard to get into my heart now.  Step in cautiously, and I hope you get scratched a little, on your way out.  haha!
I'm soft hearted with a tough exterior.

'Gotta keep movin'

I took this photo in Apache Junction, Arizona on the South west side of the the Superstition Mountains.  They say; "There's gold in them, there, hills."   Jacob Waltz.

The Lost Dutchman's is perhaps the most famous lost mine in American history.I've hiked these mountains many times, but never found it yet.  My gold mine is somewhere in this world.  I just haven't come across it yet.
I fly back and forth across the country quite a bit.  There's a lot of places down there I could choose to live.  What would I do?  Who would I meet?  Would I feel lonely? Or just be alone?  I think I just prefer to stop at places of interest along the way, and then move on.

New Blog
Well, I haven't been able to post on my old blog, sandyseashells.
So, I decided to create a new blog.  So Welcome to
"Asphalt and Clouds".
A place to post random thoughts and family activities.
Most of this blog is just about my everyday life.  It's mainly to connect to family and journal.
Facebook posts have been easier to post quick thoughts and pictures, but sometimes I have more to say about subjects so I'll do that on my blog.
